Sanjiv heads the Retail Business Development & Rural & Emerging Markets Group nationally and is responsible for driving the Alternate Channel & Acquisition of IFA's. Earlier to this role, he was a Senior Zonal Head for west. Sanjiv is a commerce graduate who brings with him over 21 years of rich experience in financial sector. He possesses deep understanding of retail marketing, creating brand awareness and brand equity, developing and tapping of high net worth clients.
Sanjiv vision is to establish NAM India as a market leader in the PSU sector for selling non-banking products and creating a business pipeline for the MF vertical.
Sanjiv has managed various key positions in M.G. Brothers, Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd, Fortis Financial Services Ltd (Ranbaxy Group) and LLOYDS Finance Ltd. Sanjiv had been instrumental in driving the business with his people focus and in-depth understanding of the complex business dynamics.
Brijesh Sharma is the Zonal Head- Distribution for West 1 & West 2 handling Mumbai, Gujarat, Rest of Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Brijesh Sharma is a management graduate and brings with him 20 years of rich experience of banking & financial services. He has been with Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (Formerly Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Limited), first as – Regional Head of Punjab & Haryana then as the Regional Head of Punjab, Haryana & Rajasthan before taking mantle of Zonal Head- North Zone. Prior to joining Nippon India, Brijesh has managed various key positions with prestigious organizations like ICICI Bank for 8years and HDFC Bank for around 5years.
Akash Singh Rana is the Zonal Head Distribution for North which comprises of Delhi/NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Akash is a Law Graduate and did his PG Diploma in Management, he brings with him over 23 years of rich experience in Banking, Distribution and Mutual fund industry across North and West zones in various capacities. He is associated with Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (Formerly Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Limited) since last 10 years and worked as Regional Head - Uttar Pradesh then as the Senior Regional Head - Gujarat and MPCG. Prior to joining Nippon India Akash has managed various key positions with prestigious organizations like ICICI Bank Ltd for 8years plus and his last assignment was Regional Head - Branch Banking and Aditya Birla Sunlife for around 4years plus.
Ashok Nanjundaraj is a Management graduate and is the Zonal Business Head South Zone which comprises of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. Ashok brings with him 20 years of rich experience of Banking & Financial services and Telecom Industry. He has been with Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited (Formerly Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Limited) since last 5 years, first as – Regional Head of Tamil Nadu, then as the Senior Regional Head of Tamil Nadu before taking over as Zonal Business Head of South Zone.
Prior to joining Nippon India, Ashok has managed various key positions with prestigious organizations like ICICI Bank for 5 and half years and Tata Teleservices for around 6 years.
Gurbir Chopra is a Senior Zonal Business Head for East at Nippon India Mutual Fund. He holds an MBA degree in Finance & Marketing and has graduated from Faculty of Management Studies, College of Materials Management, Jabalpur. He has more than 23 years of experience across NBFC and Banking Sector and has completed over 14 years with us.
