In 2022-23, the company sourced 69% of its raw materials from local suppliers, which resulted in a substantial decrease in its supply chain footprints.
In FY19, 94% of its supplies came packed in recycled or reusable materials.
The company’s total energy (fuel, electricity, and other sources) consumption intensity, measured in terms of per rupee of turnover, decreased to 33.85 in 2022-23 from 38.31 in 2021-22. The gas emission intensity, in terms of per rupee of turnover, dropped to 4.5 in 2022-23 from 5.8 to 2021-22.
