It installed VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), efficient fume and dust extraction systems, and the reduction of blower and scrubber motor load to reduce energy consumption.
The company’s total emissions, in terms of per rupee of turnover has come down to 32.81 in FY23 from 33.44 in FY22.
The company has embraced e-vehicles for the last-mile deliveries to move away from the usage of fossil fuels. It helped the battery maker in reducing its carbon footprints, in terms of per rupee of turnover, by 2% between FY22 and FY23.
