Confronting global threats like climate change and food insecurity, one of the leading agribusiness conglomerate has taken decisive action to create a safer, more responsible, and sustainable future. The company positions itself as a force for transforming food and agriculture, aiming to build a resilient food system for current and future generations.
The organisation surpassed expectations in 2025 by reducing absolute operational emissions across scope 1 and 2 by 20.9%, outperforming its original goal of a 10% reduction. During the same year, the sustainability portfolio expanded to more than 100 projects across 30 countries, and the renewable electricity mix supported emission reductions totalling 1.21 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. The progress represents a significant step towards its long-term net-zero ambitions.
To cut plastic use and emissions, the company worked with partners to reduce virgin plastic in its supply chain. In the first year, these efforts removed over 1.1 million pounds of virgin plastic and eliminated the equivalent of 1,300 megatons of GHG (Greenhouse gas) emissions.
Water restoration has also become a central sustainability priority. In 2025, the company restored 91 billion litres of water. Of this, 93% came from regenerative agricultural practices.
The company also reduced 1,580 metric tons of water pollutants by improving soil health and adopting methods that protect water quality. These actions help secure long-term benefits for farms, communities, and the broader ecosystem.
Together, these achievements signal a clear shift toward a more climate-resilient and socially responsible food system. By cutting emissions, rethinking plastics, restoring water, and improving soil health, the company demonstrates what determined action looks like in an era of environmental urgency.
