In 2023-24, this domestic metal industry player, has already breathed a new life into 2.3 million metric tons of aluminium scrap.
The company’s achievements in 2022-23, were no less. Some of the milestones achieved last year were:
1. 86% of total waste was recycled/ reused
2. Specific GHG (Greenhouse gas) emissions saw a 20% fall Vs 2011-12
3. Waste utilization at 88% was up 8% Vs 2020-21
In FY2022-23, the company raised its recycling capabilities while repurposing 18.08 million cubic meters of wastewater.
It’s usage of renewable energy and resource efficiency, resulted in cost savings of Rs 1,468 million in 2021-22.
