An Indian FMCG achievements:
1.10% cut in GHG emissions, 100% reduction in consumption of FO & LDO fossil fuel & 22% fall in diesel usage in 2022 -23.
2.They also saved 2,139 MWh energy; 9,470 MWh of renewable energy produced & 307 MWh energy generated from food waste.
3.They further saved 7,331 MT of CO2 equivalent emissions by using solar energy, Recycled 47% fresh water in FY22, Generated 9MW of solar power in 2022-23
The company managed to cut down waste and increase its cost efficiency by using recyclable and reusable thermosetting (Nylon) material at one of its production facilities.
